SPECIAL FEATURES OF SEALING WASHERS
The washers are made of silicone rubber molded over 316 stainless steel washers specially formed to accommodate this seal.
Designed for use with conventional screws, bolts or studs, these washers provide a simple solution to all your types of sealing needs.
The silicone contact surface features a continuous circular groove that creates a 360° sealing barrier around the periphery of the washer upon compression.
Silicone rubber also forms a seal when it comes into contact with the fastener head and screw threads.This washer is therefore an ideal seal for high pressures.
In addition to conventional mounting holes, these washers can be used on extra-large holes or even irregularly shaped surfaces.
They also make an excellent “plug” for sealing holes in control boxes or electrical cabinets.
Their reusability makes them perfect for applications that may require periodic maintenance or adjustments. There is no need to replace them, since they are reusable.
These washers provide a high-performance, airtight and liquid-tight seal, ideal for applications where sprays, vapors, washes or other contaminants can damage the equipment or machine if improperly sealed.
